I have two books on my nightstand: The 4-Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss and The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ DeMarco. I am in the process of reading them both, and I can highly recommend them as they have, so far, had a very big impact on me. Both of these books suggest new ways of thinking about how you do business. They emphasize that your most valuable asset is time and that you should develop your business so that your time is used most efficiently. They also discuss possible ways of using business automation to free up some of your valuable time.
According to the dictionary, the word automation is defined as “the technique of making an apparatus, a process, or a system operate automatically.” When it comes to the internet/websites, making something automatic is very achievable. It is very time-consuming and difficult the first time, but every time you go through the process of automating, it gets easier, and you constantly find new ways of doing things.
Looking over some of the entrepreneurs that I most admire, I realize most of them are individuals who have created passive income through automation—individuals who have built businesses that are now almost completely automatic, giving them financial freedom and the time to enjoy life.
I have now become obsessed with the idea of business automation.
