There is a catchphrase that is often used with early-stage startups that I really do like.
“Fake it till you make it.”
It’s one of those things that has much more wisdom to it than the six words would suggest. Sometimes you just have to act as if you were a bit further into the process than you actually are, and the truth is most people don’t see the difference between a faker and a maker.
Well, I want my business to become a successful startup, and one thing I noticed with all successful startups I have been to is that they paint their logo on the wall. So in true “fake it till you make it” fashion, I decided to paint my logo on the wall.
It only took a day and a half to finish this project, and it makes the office both more fun and more professional.
