I am always amazed when I meet successful people from all over the world that, almost without exception, they have one thing in common: they are all really good people.
I remember when I was first starting off in business, I thought you had to be a really tough person that doesn’t take any shit from anybody to get ahead in business. That might have something to do with all those stereotypical businessmen that Hollywood likes to show in movies.
The truth is far from that because you don’t get far in life by being an asshole. You get far in life by being respectful towards other people, courteous, friendly, trustworthy, and working on projects that you truly believe will create value for the world. If people trust and like you, they will want to do business with you. It’s as simple as that.
