True wisdom is knowing you know nothing

2,416 years ago, Socrates stated that the only thing that might perhaps make him wiser than others was the fact that he realized that he was not wise. He understood his own limitations and was always open to learning from others. I agree with his thoughts on the individual’s limited wisdom, and I think many of you do too, but at the same time, I am constantly surprised at how many people live their whole lives without ever doubting the way they live them. I think one of the healthiest things a person can do is to take time every once in a while to think about whether they are truly living their life the way they should. None of us is wise enough to know exactly how to live life, but we are still clever enough to ask if what we have been doing so far has been working for us and how we can improve on it. So give yourself the time to doubt a little bit and make sure you are walking the right path in this life.
